A shooting in Isla Cristina has left three people dead, including a minor, after two hooded individuals riding a motorcycle opened fire on several people in the neighborhood of El Rocío. A fourth person was seriously injured in the attack.
The deceased victims belonged to the same family: a pregnant woman, her minor son, and the mother of this woman. The emergency services dispatched to the scene could do nothing to save their lives. The Civil Guard has taken charge of the investigation to locate the perpetrators.

The attack occurred during the night of Sunday in the neighborhood of El Rocío. The two individuals arrived on a motorcycle, shot at the victims, and fled the scene immediately afterward. The investigation is now trying to reconstruct how the attack occurred and locate those responsible.
The main hypothesis that investigators are considering points to a possible settling of scores related to drug trafficking, although the investigation remains open and the motive for the crime has not yet been officially confirmed. A possible connection to another shooting recorded in September 2024 in the neighborhood of El Torrejón, in Huelva capital, is also being studied.
