The supermarket chain Dia has communicated to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) the conclusion of its second temporary share buyback program, after reaching the planned cap of shares, that is, 405,000 shares, which represent 0.697% of the group's share capital.

The purpose of this initiative was to have enough own shares to meet the number of shares contemplated in the incentive plans for the staff, as well as in the remuneration schemes for the non-executive external directors of Dia.

This second temporary program of the supermarket firm was launched on June 30, with a maximum limit of 20 million euros and a total volume to be acquired of 405,000 shares.

Initially, the buyback plan, managed by BBVA, had a maximum period of 105 working days, covering from June 30 to November 23.

However, it was contemplated that the supermarket chain could conclude it before that time frame if it reached the established maximum number of shares or if the maximum authorized amount was reached. Having already met the set target of shares, Dia has decided to conclude this program.
