Enaire has achieved again, and this makes six consecutive years, the highest possible rating in the key performance indicator for air safety of the European Commission for 2025, known as Safety Management Effectiveness (EoSM, for its acronym in English), according to the entity in a statement.
This indicator evaluates at a European level the degree of maturity of the system and the quality of the procedures and tools implemented by each service provider to reinforce the safety of air operations.
The Spanish manager again obtains the maximum score in the six blocks that make up the model: safety culture, safety policy and objectives, safety risk management, safety assurance, safety promotion, and interdependencies between these elements.
According to Enaire, the uninterrupted achievement of this recognition since 2020 consolidates its position as a "benchmark in Europe in air safety management," and values the daily work of its professionals, who work with the purpose of "providing air navigation services with safety, quality, efficiency, and respect for the environment."
The public company places safety as an absolute priority in its Strategic Plan, the Flight Plan 2030, where it reinforces this area with a special focus on safety culture, the human factor, cybersecurity, and the identification and management of new emerging risks.
"The rating has special relevance because in the year 2025 the fourth reference period began, covering 2025-2029. Regarding the evaluation of the Safety Management System Effectiveness indicator (EoSM), this new cycle introduced a new questionnaire, much more demanding than the one applied in the previous period, in order to reinforce the convergence of European air navigation service providers towards even more demanding common operational safety standards," it has been assessed in this regard.
In this way, Enaire emphasizes that the results not only show that the manager has exceeded the targets set for this exercise, but that it has also reached, since the first year of the new reference period, the highest possible level in all the components that are analyzed.
