Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of an agreement to build the Radisson RED Sydney Haymarket, a 328-room hotel expected to open in 2029 in the southern end of Sydney's central business district, marking the arrival of this lifestyle brand in the Australian market.
The complex will be integrated into a new 31-story tower developed in collaboration with the developer Ceerose.
The property will be located about 200 meters from Sydney Central Station and very close to the shopping area of Chinatown, Darling Harbour, and the Tech Central innovation hub.
The hotel will feature a restaurant, lobby café-bar, poolside bar, gym, several meeting rooms, and a specific space to facilitate check-ins and check-outs outside of regular hours for international travelers.
The project will also include an outdoor pool located on the upper floors, with panoramic views of the urban center.
From the executive management of Radisson Hotel Group, they have emphasized that this operation represents a milestone in their growth strategy in Australasia, focused on expanding and diversifying their portfolio in the main urban and vacation destinations in the region.
At the same time, the developer Ceerose has stressed that the initiative aims to accompany and reinforce the urban transformation that the southern area of the Australian metropolis is experiencing.
