The hotel company Vestige Collection has launched this week the reservations for "Vestige Xaudum", a lodge of six suites located in the Khaudum National Park (Namibia), whose official opening is scheduled for March 15, 2027.

This accommodation will be the first asset of the firm outside of Spain and will mark the starting point of the "Vestige Namibia" circuit, a project that will bring together a total of four establishments in this African country.

The lodge is built on a dune of the Kalahari desert and is the only one located within the Khaudum National Park, a reserve of more than 3,800 square kilometers integrated into the Kavango-Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area (KAZA).

It is a park with fewer than 3,000 visitors per year, known for hosting migratory herds of elephants, lions, leopards, and endangered species such as the African wild dog.

The architectural and interior design has been carried out by Vestige Estudio, which has reconfigured the space to incorporate five one-bedroom suites, each 200 square meters, and one two-bedroom suite of 390 square meters, equipped with four terraces and a private pool.

In the construction, materials from the area have been used, such as thatch roofs made by neighboring communities, and the complex will operate with its own solar energy system with batteries and thorough water usage control.

The lodge's facilities include a spa area, an outdoor training area, a main pool of 78 square meters, and a gastronomic proposal based on local products prepared on the grill.

The activity of the establishment will generate direct employment in the nearby communities of Muduva Nyangana and George Mukoya Conservancies through specific training programs in hospitality.

After the opening of Vestige Xaudum, the company plans to gradually add the other three accommodations that will complete the route in northern Namibia: Vestige Sorris Sorris, Vestige Omatendeka, and Vestige Sheya Shuushona.

The launch rate starts at 1,600 euros per person per night, on an all-inclusive basis.
