Once people have lost their lives, nine in Ukraine and two in Russia, in a new day marked by the exchange of attacks with drones, missiles, and projectiles between both countries.
In the Ukrainian region of Zaporiyia, in the southeast of the country, a Russian attack has caused the death of three people and left 15 injured, according to what the Ukrainian military governor of the area, Ivan Fedorov, has indicated on social media. "Unfortunately, another person has died from the enemy attack in Zaporiyia. So far, three people have died and 15 are injured," he has pointed out.
In the district of Borispil, in the Kyiv region, two people have died and eight have been injured this Saturday after the impact of a Russian ballistic missile, according to information provided by the regional governor, Timur Tkachenko. The projectile has hit a warehouse, a parking lot, several vehicles, a private home, and a gas station.
In Lviv, the latest balance released by the city's mayor, Andri Sadovi, raises the number of dead to three and the injured to five after an attack on the Iskra factory. The offensive has caused a fire in a warehouse where aerosol cans were stored.
In the Ukrainian province of Sumi, in the border town of Seredino-Bud, a man and a woman have lost their lives due to the explosion of devices, and another woman has been injured, according to details provided by the military governor of Dnipropetrovsk, Oleg Hrygorov. The man, 61 years old, was riding a bicycle when he passed over an explosive and died on the spot. In the same area, a 50-year-old woman has subsequently died from the detonation of another unidentified object.
On the other side of the border, in the Russian region of Krasnodar, two minors have died and two adults from the same family have been injured in a drone attack attributed to Ukraine over Yeisk, according to what the regional governor, Veniamin Kondratiev, has denounced. "Several drones have attacked this morning civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in the Yeisk district. A family has been the victim of a new cowardly and regrettable attack by the Kyiv regime. Two minors have died and two adults are hospitalized," Kondratiev has written on social media.
The regional official has explained that emergency teams are working in the affected area, where several businesses have suffered damage from the debris generated by the impact. "The firefighters are still working to extinguish the fire. We are going to provide all the necessary support to all the victims. I have ordered the district official, Roman Bublik, to resolve any incidents that arise and report on the situation," he added.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has also reported an attack on the oil refinery in Novokuibishevsk, in the Russian region of Samara, carried out during the night. These facilities, owned by Rosneft, are located about 900 kilometers from the Ukrainian border.
In the same area, a warehouse of Ozon Holdings, the second largest e-commerce company in Russia, has also been hit. About 500 employees had to be evacuated and several injuries have been reported.
On Friday, other attacks with Ukrainian drones on the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, in eastern Ukraine, resulted in the death of three people and left thirteen injured, according to local authorities.
