At least four Palestinians, including a child, have lost their lives and several more have been injured this Thursday in a series of attacks by the Israeli Army on the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreed upon in October 2025 as part of the United States proposal regarding the future of the coastal enclave, accepted by both Israel and the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
According to information released by the Palestinian newspaper Filastin, a woman and a minor, supposedly members of the same family —"Intisar Abu Asr" and "Hussam Abu Asr"— have died following a bombing against a house located in the Al Sabra neighborhood, in the city of Gaza.
Another man has died after not surviving the injuries caused by gunfire from Israeli forces in the town of Deir al Balá, in the central area of the Strip.
Likewise, a woman identified as "Ahlam Shaaban Mubarak" has been hit by artillery fire against her home in the northwest of the enclave, while the Israeli Army has not yet provided any public assessment of these events.
In parallel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the death of "a terrorist" on Wednesday and have indicated that the suspect "crossed the 'yellow line' --where Israeli forces are deployed as a result of the October 2025 agreement and which covers more than 50% of the Strip-- to attempt to sabotage operational infrastructure."
The Army has added that on Monday it killed "a commander of Hamas's military wing" named "Ibrahim Alam" in an attack in the area of Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, and has recalled that the man "invaded the territory of the State of Israel" during the attacks of October 7, 2023.
In its statement, the Israeli forces have emphasized that Alam "participated in the murder of many Israeli civilians, in addition to taking the body of the deceased sergeant Shaked Dahan," which was later retained in the Strip.
On the other hand, the Army has also reported the death of "a terrorist from Hamas's military wing" in another bombing carried out on Tuesday against Gaza, and identified the deceased as "Muatzem Muhamad Suleiman Salá," without providing further details about his figure.
The authorities of the Gaza Strip, under Hamas control, have updated this Thursday the death toll since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2025, placing it at more than 1,470 dead and nearly 5,200 injured from Israeli attacks.
The Gazan Ministry of Health has specified that during this period, 1,471 "martyrs" and 5,189 injured have been counted, among them four deceased and 28 injured in the last 24 hours. In addition, 836 bodies have been recovered in the areas from which Israeli troops withdrew after the agreement.
Finally, the health agency has reiterated that, since the beginning of the offensive launched by Israel after the attacks on October 7, 2023 —which caused about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to the official Israeli count—, the total number of victims in Gaza amounts to 74,254 dead and 175,306 injured.
