At least three Palestinians have lost their lives and several more have been injured this Monday in a new series of attacks carried out by the Israeli Army against different points in the Gaza Strip.

Two of the deceased died in an attack in the city of Rafah, in the south of the enclave. The injured have been evacuated to a Red Cross hospital after a drone attacked the vicinity of a mosque, according to the newspaper "Filastin," close to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), which exercises control over the Gazan authorities.

The fatalities have been identified as Ezeldín Iyad Diab Barhum, 22 years old, and Salaheldín Iyad Abdelhamid Aqel, 29 years old. Hours earlier, a Palestinian woman had been injured in a shooting recorded in Khan Younis, also in the south of the Strip.

The Israeli Army has assured that its forces have attacked "terrorist targets" within Palestinian territory as part of this new offensive and has indicated that it is evaluating the results of the operations.

In another incident, a Palestinian identified as Jaledabdel Fatá Yaber has died due to the serious injuries sustained days earlier in the north of the Strip.

Additionally, two other people have been injured by gunfire from Israeli forces on Saladino Street, in the Al Zeitun neighborhood of Gaza City, while in the Al Bureij refugee camp, in the central area of the enclave, one more person has been injured in an Israeli attack.

In Mauasi Khan Younis, in the south, a woman has been hit by gunfire early this Monday. New Israeli gunfire has also been reported south of Khan Younis, along with drone overflights and artillery bombardments in the area.

On Sunday, five people died, including a minor who died from the severity of the injuries sustained days earlier, according to the latest toll released this Monday by the Gazan Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas.

The authorities of the Gaza Strip have raised the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks to 1,493 since the ceasefire came into effect in October 2025, while the total number of deaths since the start of the offensive launched after the attacks of October 7, 2023, amounts to 74,382.
