The Israeli Army carried out a bombing this Friday in the West Bank city of Jenin against "several terrorists," with no further concrete details about the operation having emerged so far, in a context of increased security actions and attacks carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in this area of Palestine.

"The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have attacked several terrorists in Jenin," the Army noted in a brief official statement, in which no further details are provided. So far, Palestinian authorities have not issued comments on what happened, and there is also no count of possible victims.

In recent years, Israeli forces have carried out various airstrikes in the West Bank against what they describe as targets related to "terrorist groups," although this type of bombing occurs much less frequently than those taking place in the Gaza Strip.

According to the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), so far this year, 79 Palestinians have died and around 1,850 have been injured due to the actions of Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank, a dynamic that has intensified since the attacks on October 7, 2023, attributed to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
