The national deputy secretary of Institutional Regeneration of the PP, Cuca Gamarra, defended this Saturday in Burgos the proposal of "decency" that, according to her, embodies the president of her party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, against the "delinquency" that she attributes to sanchismo, at the beginning of the pre-campaign for the general elections on November 29. In her appearance before the press, she emphasized that, in those elections, citizens will have to choose between "a public servant or an impostor."

From the Burgos capital, the 'popular' leader has presented the date with the polls as a "transcendental opportunity" to restore "democratic normality and compensate for eight years of blockages and abandonment" that, in her opinion, the province has suffered under the governments of Pedro Sánchez.

Gamarra detailed that the program of her formation includes an "audit of all ministries," a plan for the regeneration of institutions, and the prioritization of social issues such as housing, tax cuts, and the management of migratory flows, which the PP wants to place at the center of political debate.

In her speech, she also criticized the PSOE's pact strategy and described the so-called Left-Wing Broad Front as an "alliance of desperation." In this context, the PP leadership has focused on former president José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, whom they point to for alleged embezzlement related to unresolved valuable items, and has denounced that sanchismo "occupies everything within the PSOE," without differentiating between internal currents.

In the judicial and electoral arena, Gamarra has demanded that ministers Félix Bolaños and Ángel Víctor Torres respond without delay to the Supreme Court's request. She recalls that justice has set a four-day deadline for the Executive to identify and justify the inclusion in the electoral roll of more than 163,000 people under the Democratic Memory Law, and has urged the Government to "stop trying to perpetrate a fraud."

In economic terms, the popular leader has questioned the fiscal policy of the central Executive, which she attributes more than 140 tax increases in a context of strong inflation. According to her party, part of the revenue "has ended up tainted by corruption cases in the awarding of public works."

As an alternative, the PP commits to redirecting public funds towards the economic boost of the province of Burgos, prioritizing the advancement and unlocking of pending infrastructures such as the highways A-12, A-73, and A-11, in addition to the reopening of the Direct Train, considered strategic for the territory.

During her visit, Gamarra plans to hold a meeting with prison officials. The party has claimed the recent legal recognition of this group as agents of authority, already reflected in the BOE, which is attributed to an initiative promoted by the popular party in the Cortes.

The PP assures that it will continue to strengthen the resources of these public employees with "better tools for maintaining order," and has reiterated its commitment to the State Security Forces and Corps regarding "updating allowances, effective salary equalization" and the recognition of their work as a "high-risk profession."

Questioned about the lists for Congress for Salamanca and about the option of running with Vox in joint candidacies in constituencies like Burgos, through coalition or distribution formulas, the popular spokesperson has avoided specifying and has limited herself to stating that, when the party has "something to communicate," it will make it public. So far, the PP has closed agreements with UPN and Foro Asturias.
