United Left (IU) of Andalusia, Sumar Movement, Initiative of the Andalusian People, and Equo Greens have confirmed this Friday that they will present themselves in coalition for the upcoming general elections on November 29, with a list that in the Andalusian territory will carry the name "Broad Front For Andalusia" and that leaves Podemos out.

The announcement was made through a statement released a few hours before the official deadline for registering coalitions for the general elections on November 29, which will take place six months after the regional elections on May 17. In those regional elections, under the brand For Andalusia, IU, Podemos Andalusia, Sumar Movement Andalusia, Equo Greens, Republican Alternative, and Green Alliance participated.

In comparison with that Andalusian electoral event, in the "Broad Front For Andalusia," IU, Sumar Movement, Initiative of the Andalusian People, and Equo Greens repeat as allies, while Podemos Andalusia, Republican Alternative, and Green Alliance will not be part of this new alliance.

The statement made public this Friday afternoon emphasizes that the name of the coalition, "Broad Front For Andalusia," "reflects the will to build a shared political project for the entire State from the recognition of its territorial diversity."

Furthermore, the text highlights that "Andalusia, a historical nationality with a long tradition of struggle for democracy, self-government, and social justice, will thus have a candidacy that combines its own identity with the common project of the Broad Front."

The parties that have signed this agreement emphasize that "this agreement is the result of dialogue, generosity, and the responsibility of the involved organizations, and constitutes a new step towards the articulation of unitary candidacies throughout the State."
