The deputy spokesperson for Sumar in Congress and deputy of Compromís, Alberto Ibáñez, has lashed out at the Supreme Court after it decided this Monday to maintain the suspension of the voting rights of individuals who obtained Spanish nationality through a provision of the Democratic Memory Law, popularly known as the 'grandchildren's law'.

"The fraud was not Correos but in the Supreme Court," he stated in a post on "X" reported by Europa Press, in which he urged to go before the Constitutional Court.

A resource he has appealed to in order to "defend democracy," and he has urged "those in robes who want" to "come forward" in the general elections that will be held on the next November 29.
