The Government spokesperson and Minister of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, Elma Saiz, has stated that she maintains a "permanent contact" with the president of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, and that both advocate for "collaboration between administrations" after the massive entry of around 72,000 immigrants on July 30 and 31 from Morocco.

In addition, Saiz has again questioned the usefulness of the demonstrations held in Ceuta in recent days by various 'popular' leaders. "What do the statements made by the different leaders of the Popular Party contribute?" the minister posed.
