The people registered in Podemos have given their approval to the collaboration agreement with ERC in Catalonia, as well as to the unity candidacies with other leftist forces in the Canary Islands and in the Valencian Community.
From the purple formation, they detail that 87.7% of those who participated in the express consultation supported these agreements, in a vote in which more than 10,000 registered members participated in just over four hours. Conversely, 1,230 people voted against the agreements, which amounts to 12.2%.
In the case of Catalonia, the understanding with ERC represents an unprecedented collaboration agreement: Podemos renounces to present its own candidacy in this territory and will support the list of the republicans, which will include two members of the purple formation as independents in positions 6 and 10 for Barcelona. Additionally, it is expected that Rufián will participate in campaign events outside Catalonia alongside Irene Montero.
Likewise, the membership has ratified the coalition that Podemos has reached with Nueva Canarias, IU, and Movimiento Sumar under the brand "Unidad del Pueblo Canario," as well as the joint candidacy in the Valencian Community alongside Compromís, IU, and ERC, in which Podemos will head the list for the Alicante constituency with the designation "Compromís-Front Valencià para la papeleta."
