The spokesperson for Vox in Congress, Pepa Rodríguez de Millán, has denounced this Thursday that the Government "is interested" in a "social explosion" occurring in Ceuta, following the massive entry of immigrants at the end of July, in order to "justify" its "surrender" to Morocco.
Rodríguez de Millán expressed herself in these terms in statements to the media in the Lower House, after the incidents of the last hours and the increase in social tension in the autonomous city. Hundreds of Ceuta residents gathered to demand the expulsion of immigrants, and the Police have arrested twelve of them for stoning soldiers, with a balance of four soldiers injured.
The Vox leader has conveyed the "respect and support" of her party to the people of Ceuta, who, in her opinion, "are giving a lesson in dignity" against a Government "absolutely unworthy" to perform its functions. "The Ceuta people were lied to and are defending what is theirs," she emphasized.
Criticism of the Executive for its relationship with Morocco
In this line, the parliamentary spokesperson has accused the central Executive of putting Spain's resources "at the service of the Moroccan invader" and of leaving the Ceutans "abandoned." Therefore, she has demanded that the "submissive" Government "stand up" to Rabat, although she lamented that, in her opinion, "a red carpet has been laid out for the invader." "One day we will know what the PSOE owes to Morocco," she added.
Likewise, she has called for the repatriation of "all" immigrants, "those who entered before and after the invasion," to their countries of origin. "As of today, we do not know the total number of immigrants in Ceuta," she criticized.
Regarding the refusal of the president of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, to cede the sports centers for reception, the Vox spokesperson insisted that "the only possible alternative" is to "return the minors to their parents."
