Thousands of people have mobilized this Wednesday in Ceuta and in different parts of Spain to show their support for the autonomous city amid a migration crisis. The gatherings have spread across much of the country and have had some of their main focal points in Ceuta, Madrid, Valencia, and Barcelona.

Flags of Spain and Ceuta, banners, and slogans such as "Ceuta is not for sale, it is defended" have characterized a day that has also left numerous criticisms of the Government and demands for solutions to the situation facing the autonomous city.

Thousands of people crowded the surroundings of the Plaza de Cibeles in one of the most crowded images of the day. Flags of Spain accompanied a gathering called to show support for the autonomous city.

Salamanca shows its support for Ceuta

The Plaza Mayor was filled with demonstrators holding flags of Spain and banners supporting the autonomous city, including messages such as "Ceuta is all of us".

Toledo also takes to the streets for Ceuta

Hundreds of people gathered next to the Cathedral with flags of Spain and the autonomous city to show their solidarity with the people of Ceuta.

Bilbao, with Ceuta

The concentration brought together numerous citizens in front of the City Hall, where attendees unfurled a large banner with the message "Bilbao with Ceuta" and the flag of the autonomous city.

Ceuta, epicenter of the mobilizations

About 20,000 people participated in the demonstration held in the autonomous city, where flags of Spain and Ceuta accompanied banners with messages such as "Ceuta is not for sale, Ceuta is defended".
