The circulation of the C5 was interrupted
The incident affected the section of the C5 line that connects Leganés, Fuenlabrada, and Humanes, causing disruptions and delays among travelers.
Circulation was able to recover later, although the service accumulated delays due to the interruption. The C5 line maintains its usual route between Móstoles-El Soto and Humanes, passing through Fuenlabrada.
The driver, transferred to the hospital
The accident left at least one person injured, the driver of the vehicle, who was transferred to the Hospital 12 de Octubre for medical attention.
So far, no further details have emerged about the circumstances in which the car left the roadway and ended up on the railway tracks.
The line resumes circulation
After removing the vehicle and completing the necessary actions, rail traffic was restored. C5 travelers can gradually return to normal, although residual delays may persist as a consequence of the interruption.
The incident occurs on a day when the C5 line maintains its usual operation after the restrictions applied during the improvement works at Atocha Cercanías.
