The integration, effective January 1, 2027, adds to Capitole Profile’s specialization in AI and software architecture, and its experience in the insurance sector
Capitole, a technology consulting firm founded in Barcelona in 2015, and Profile, a consulting firm specialized in software architecture, artificial intelligence and DevOps, announce their integration into a single company. As of January 1, 2027, both will operate under the Capitole brand, with a single structure of more than 1,800 professionals, more than 300 of them from Profile.
Capitole and Profile have collaborated since 2022 within the Smart4Engineering group. The operation formalizes that relationship: clients will have a single point of contact for the entire life cycle of their systems.
Founded in 1999 and with more than 60 client organizations, Profile brings established specialization in software architecture and DevOps, and extensive experience in the insurance sector, as well as banking, industry, retail, logistics and utilities.
Artificial intelligence is one of the axes of the integration, which brings together the experience of the two companies in this field: AI Ships, Capitole’s agentic development platform, which accelerates project delivery; the implementation and orchestration of agents, and AI governance, with solutions to monitor, control and analyze its use throughout the organization, help comply with regulations and manage costs.
Capitole organizes its activity into six specialized practices: Software Development, Quality, Data and Artificial Intelligence, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, Engineering, and Methods & Transformation. In 2027 it plans to incorporate more than 500 people, 200 of them in its Data and Artificial Intelligence practice.
Olivier Pichou, CEO and founder of Capitole, states: "Capitole and Profile have been collaborating for years, and this integration formalizes something that was already working. What changes is the scale: with more than 1,800 professionals we can accompany our clients from the architecture of their systems to the incorporation of artificial intelligence, with a single team and a single point of contact".
Pablo Pérez, CEO of Profile, who will assume the global business responsibility of the integrated company, adds: "We have been building the technical foundations on which our clients develop and operate their systems for years. Integrating into Capitole allows us to take that experience to another scale, just when artificial intelligence has to be integrated into those systems in a secure, governed and scalable way".
