IHG Hotels & Resorts has closed a management agreement with the company Vrindam Developers Private Limited to launch the future voco Vrindavan hotel, which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2031.

The complex will offer 130 rooms and will be built in Vrindavan, one of the most prominent pilgrimage sites in the state of Uttar Pradesh, in northern India.

The hotel will be integrated into a mixed-use development that will combine hotel accommodation and apartments with common services.

The project will include three dining spaces, a gym, a pool, and more than 2,340 square meters dedicated to meetings and events, with a main hall of 1,400 square meters focused on religious and corporate celebrations.

The operation marks the entry of Vrindam Developers into the hotel industry and consolidates IHG's expansion in the Braj region, where the cities of Vrindavan and Mathura surpassed 90 million visitors in 2024.

With this new development, the company adds another project to its portfolio in India, a country where it already manages 53 hotels under seven brands and has more than a hundred establishments in the construction phase.
