Latam Airlines Brasil is preparing to incorporate in the coming days its first E195-E2 aircraft, built by the Brazilian aerospace manufacturer Embraer. The company expects this aircraft to begin operating imminently in order to reinforce and expand Latam's presence in the Brazilian market.

As detailed by the Chilean airline in a statement, this E195-E2 will be the first of a series of 12 units that will be delivered before the end of the year, as part of a program announced in September 2025 that includes the total purchase of 74 aircraft of this model.

"We chose the E195-E2 with a clear objective: to continue expanding Latam's presence in Brazil sustainably. With the E2, we will connect new markets with strong demand and great economic potential to our global network, which will allow us to exceed the figure of 70 airports we fly to in Brazil already by 2027," explained the CEO of Latam Airlines Brasil, Jerome Cadier.

"This aircraft will play an important role in the company's strategy to expand its network of connections, as it offers the ideal combination of efficiency, operational flexibility, and comfort. It is gratifying to see how the E195-E2 contributes to connecting new destinations and boosting the development of air transport in Brazil," indicated, for his part, the CEO of Embraer, Francisco Gomes Neto.
