Sidenor and the trade union organizations UGT, CCOO and USO have closed a pre-agreement for the group's new collective bargaining agreement, which will have a term of six years and contemplates pay increases of up to 3.25%, in addition to salary reviews every three years linked to the CPI.

This regulatory framework will apply to 1,600 employees of the plants in Basauri (Bizkaia), Vitoria and Reinosa (Cantabria), and will be in force from the current fiscal year until 2032. In the first year of application, the workforces will see their pay increased by 14.5%, the result of the 3.25% salary increase plus a 5% regularization derived from the previous framework agreement. To this will be added a framework agreement bonus of 1% and another 5% regularization corresponding to the previous collective agreement.

According to the agreed calendar, in 2028 the salary increase will be 3%, in 2029 2.5% and in 2030 2%, with an additional review linked to the CPI and capped at 2%. For 2031 an increase of 2.25% is set and for 2032 of 2.5%. In 2033 a new salary review linked to the CPI will be carried out with a maximum of 3%. Likewise, in the years 2028, 2031 and 2032 a framework agreement bonus of 1.25% will be paid.

The pre-agreed text also sets annual working days at 210 starting in 2027. In addition, it includes the possibility of early retirement for people born between 1965 and 1971, along with the conversion into permanent contracts of 200 employment contracts.
