At least five Palestinians have lost their lives this Tuesday in various attacks by the Israeli Army against different points in the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire agreed upon in October 2025 as part of the United States proposal regarding the future of the coastal enclave.
Medical sources cited by the newspaper "Filastin" have confirmed the death of two people, one of them an eight-year-old girl identified as Amal Yaser Omar, in an Israeli bombing near Khan Yunis, in the south of the Strip.
The attack, which has also left at least 14 injured, occurred in an area where internally displaced persons' tents are concentrated.
Hours earlier, Israel had launched another bombing in the north of the Palestinian enclave, in which at least three other people have died. One of the victims is a man identified as Ahmed al Batsh, who died in an attack near a supermarket in the Al Safataui area, which has also caused an unspecified number of injuries.
The Israeli Army has confirmed that, during a joint operation with the internal intelligence service, Shin Bet, they have neutralized Batsh, whom they described as the commander of the Yabalia Battalion of the brigade operating in the north of Gaza belonging to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
According to the statement from the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the man played a key role in managing and organizing the brigade's weaponry in the northern sector. He was also responsible for coordinating and supervising the supply of military equipment to the group's members.
Additionally, a man identified as Yusef Saadín al Zaim has died in another drone attack in the city of Gaza, while another civilian, identified as Salé Ramadán al Dabur, 65 years old, has died in Yabalia, also in the north of the enclave. In these last cases, the Israeli Army has not yet provided any public assessment.
The IDF has also announced the death of two "terrorists" from Hamas in attacks carried out on Monday against the city of Gaza and Khan Yunis, identified as Muhamad Hader Fahmi Agur and Rafat abú Zamar, respectively.
Thus, of the first of them, it has been indicated that the first of them "was involved in the manufacture of weapons" for the organization, while the second "led the training" of other members of the military wing of Hamas in preparation for the attacks of October 7, 2023, which left about 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities.
For its part, the Gaza Ministry of Health has raised the number of dead to 1,375 and the injured to 4,686 due to Israeli attacks against the Strip since the ceasefire came into effect, including three deceased and 27 injured in the last 24 hours.
In its statement, disseminated through social networks, it has also pointed out that rescue teams have recovered 831 bodies in areas from which Israeli troops withdrew —now redeployed in the so-called 'Yellow Line', which extends over more than half of the territory of Gaza— in application of the aforementioned agreement.
Finally, the Ministry has emphasized that, since the beginning of the Israeli offensive following the attacks of October 7, 2023, 73,789 "martyrs" and 174,798 injured have been recorded, and has warned that there are still corpses under the rubble and in areas that emergency teams cannot access.
