At least three people have lost their lives this Tuesday in a new series of attacks attributed to the Ukrainian Army against the Russian region of Bryansk and the peninsula of Crimea, incorporated by Moscow in 2014. The governor of Crimea, Sergei Aksionov, has indicated in a message on social media that "two people have died and another has been injured" in Simferopol as a consequence of "another enemy attack." "I express my sincere condolences to the families and friends of those killed in this barbaric attack," he stated, without providing more information about what happened.
In parallel, the interim governor of Bryansk, Yegor Kovalchuk, has confirmed that a man has died after an attack on a gas station in Starodub, an incident that has also left three others injured.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has raised the number of drones neutralized by its air defense systems to 389, several of them over the Moscow region. These would be the first attacks directed against the capital after the pause decreed due to the recent visit of the envoys of the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to Russia and Ukraine to try to reactivate a possible peace agreement.
