The Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, will take on the task of coordinating the Government's response to the crisis that has arisen in Ceuta following the recent massive entry of migrants recorded a few weeks ago.
As "El Periódico" has reported and Europa Press has confirmed, the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has decided to trust Ángel Víctor Torres to appoint him in the coming days as the person responsible for coordinating this migratory crisis in the autonomous city.
This decision comes after the President of Ceuta, Juan Jesús Vivas, has been demanding in recent days the designation of a single command by the central Executive in light of the situation generated by the massive arrival of migrants at the end of July.
