The parties integrated in Frente Amplio have decided this Monday to propose the former mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, as a candidate for the Presidency of the Government in the general elections on November 29, as they have stated in a statement.
The proposal has been agreed upon by Movimiento Sumar, Comuns, Más Madrid, and IU in a meeting held this afternoon. This resolution comes after ERC and Podemos have closed a collaboration agreement for the elections and after the spokesperson for ERC in Congress, Gabriel Rufián, has been ratified as the head of the list of the independentist formation for the general elections.
