The general secretary of PSOE-A, María Jesús Montero, has highlighted this Saturday the "courage" of the general secretary of PSOE and president of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and has thanked him for deciding to start in Andalusia "his 'exciting journey to victory'."

Montero has intervened in Dos Hermanas (Sevilla) at the first major pre-campaign event for the elections on November 29, accompanied by the general secretary of PSOE and president of the Executive, Pedro Sánchez, and by the mayor of Dos Hermanas and secretary of Organization of PSOE-A, Francisco Rodríguez. According to the organizers' calculations, more than 5,000 people attended the meeting.

"We are going for it all," Montero stated during her speech, convinced that "the PSOE, that Pedro Sánchez, is going to win the next general elections." In the same vein, she emphasized that "the social majority of this country is going to win the next general elections."

The socialist leader has stressed that "we live in complex times, of uncertainty, we are concerned about that reactionary wave that is sweeping the world, that bad politics practiced by the right in this country" and has reiterated that in this context "we need solid leadership, values, commitment, and courage."

"If in this country there is a leader with courage, his name is Pedro Sánchez," the general secretary of PSOE-A emphasized, who has defended the policies promoted and the management developed by the current central Government.

Montero concluded by pointing out that "we have some exciting weeks ahead where we will give our all to make it possible for this country to continue advancing, for the social majority to find that their rights have recognition and guarantee within a government."
