The parliamentary spokesperson has maintained that the reception policies "are more efficient and safer," and has urged the Executive to use all its "capacity" so that "the migrant people who are currently in Ceuta reach the peninsula as soon as possible and their situation is processed." "This is especially urgent when we talk about children and minors," she emphasized in a video shared on the social network 'Instagram.'
Barbero has reproached the PSOE for "making a mistake" in how to address what is happening in the autonomous city, considering that it is "focusing a humanitarian crisis as a security problem." "It is not about controlling the situation. It is about resolving it," she stressed.
The leader of Sumar has defended that the Government of Spain has "the tools, the capacity, and the resources" necessary to welcome these migrant people, which is why she has urged to "break the blocking strategy of the PP and Vox," which in her opinion "only seek for the situation to fester and continue spreading hate."
In contrast, she has highlighted the work of the Minister of Health, Mónica García, and the Minister of Childhood and Youth, Sira Rego, at the head of their respective ministries, while organized hate spreads on social networks "with the explicit complicity of the PP and the PP of Vox."
