The parliamentary spokesperson of the Basque PP, Laura Garrido, has criticized "the shamelessness" of the president of the EBB of the PNV, Aitor Esteban, for having urged the State Security Forces present in Euskadi "to go to Ceuta".

In a message disseminated on social media, Garrido maintains that Esteban's words demonstrate, "once again, that there is no difference between the PNV and Bildu." In her opinion, "The PNV, which encourages the arrival of irregular immigrants, wants those who exercise competencies against mafias, border control, jihadism, organized crime, or customs to leave," she reproached, referring to the work carried out by the National Police and the Civil Guard.

Meanwhile, the president of the Basque PP, Javier de Andrés, has emphasized that "the attempt to prevent votes for the PNV from going to Bildu by becoming as 'progressive' as they are is getting out of hand."
