The court on duty in Lleida has decreed this Tuesday provisional imprisonment communicated and without bail for one of the two arrested for his alleged involvement in the violent death of a man in the city last Saturday.
The second detainee has been released, although he must present himself once a month at the court, his passport has been revoked, and he is prohibited from leaving the national territory, according to information from the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) in a publication on "X" reported by Europa Press.
According to the court, both are subject to an open case for an alleged crime of homicide.
The Mossos d'Esquadra received a call at 4:39 PM on Saturday, October 3, after a person was found unconscious in an open area of the Bordeta neighborhood. Several police patrols and two units of the Medical Emergency System (SEM) were dispatched to the scene, which certified the man's death.
Hours later, and as a result of the initial investigations, the two men were arrested for their supposed connection to the events. The Criminal Investigation Division of the Mossos has taken charge of the case to clarify what happened.
