Airbus and the labor organizations are scheduled to meet this Wednesday, October 14, to give the final green light to the agreement reached on the company's latest proposal, which received the majority support of the workforce in Spain after a consultation held over two days with the aim of closing the labor conflict.

The meeting is included in the call of the negotiating committee of the VII Collective Agreement, in which the management of Airbus and the legal representation of the workers --CCOO, UGT, CGT, ATP, and SIPA-- participate, as union sources have indicated to Europa Press.

In the last internal referendum, 76.76% of the votes leaned in favor of Airbus's final offer, which has as its main axes the commitment to pay the actual CPI and the recovery of purchasing power by 7.95%, distributed proportionally over four years, until 2029, maintaining the current telework agreement unchanged.

Additionally, regarding the annual salary reviews, all linked to the CPI, an additional increase of 2% will be applied, except in 2029, when the increase will be 1.95%.

After learning the result of the vote, Airbus highlighted in its last official statement that the support of the workforce opens "a clear path to follow" to maintain a "solid" and "competitive" position in the country, while "reinforcing the collective commitment to the well-being and safety of its employees."

In parallel, the strike committee at Airbus, made up of UGT, CGT, and ÚTIL, decided to cancel the call for an indefinite strike by the workforce of the aircraft manufacturer, which had been suspended since September 9 after having started at the end of August.
