BME incorporates Alicia Reyes Revuelta as a new independent advisor after receiving authorization from the CNMV.

The Board of Directors of BME has incorporated Alicia Reyes Revuelta as a new independent director, after receiving authorization from the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), as the firm explained this Thursday in a statement. Reyes Revuelta will participate for the first time in a meeting of the Board of Directors of BME on the occasion of the ordinary session scheduled for October 2026. The new director is also a member of the Boards of Directors of Ardonagh Europe, EDP, and KBC Group, and has been part of the governing bodies of companies such as Banco Sabadell, Ferrovial, and Wells Fargo International. Reyes holds a triple degree in Law, Economics, and Business Administration from ICADE University, as well as a PhD in Quantitative Methods and Financial Markets Program from the same institution. In addition, her professional career has mainly developed in the field of global banking and financial markets, with special attention to technology and ESG investment. Throughout her career, she has held various positions of responsibility in companies such as Deutsche Bank, Telecom Ventures, Bear Stearns, Barclays Capital, and Olympo Capital. Between 2015 and 2020, she served as CEO of Wells Fargo Securities EMEA. Subsequently, between 2021 and 2023, she was the founder and CEO of Momentus Securities, a New York-based broker specializing in facilitating access to capital markets for socially committed companies in the United States. With the incorporation of Reyes Revuelta, the composition of the Board of Directors of BME is made up of Bjorn Sibbern, as president; Juan Flames, as CEO; David Jiménez-Blanco, as vice president and independent director; Alicia Reyes, as independent director; Tomas Kindler, Marion Leslie, and Markus Habbel, as proprietary directors. Likewise, Ignacio Olivares holds the position of non-director secretary and Alejandro Díez, that of non-director deputy secretary.
