Sacyr has turned to the services of Alantra to analyze the sale of its industrial engineering division, in line with its plan to maximize the value of its assets, according to sources close to the operation who have indicated to Europa Press.
This activity is channeled through its subsidiary Sacyr Proyecta, as "Expansión" has reported, which estimates the annual turnover of this company at 50 million euros and its gross operating result (Ebitda) at 14 million euros.
The company emphasizes that it is permanently "exploring strategic opportunities," although it specifies that, for the moment, it has not made any decision that needs to be officially communicated to the market.
In recent years, Sacyr has already divested in other business areas, such as Valoriza Servicios Medioambientales, whose transfer to Morgan Stanley was completed in 2023 for 420 million euros.
That same year, it also transferred to Serveo its company Sacyr Facilities, specialized in cleaning and maintenance services, for 90 million euros, and subsequently, in 2025, it disposed of three highways in Colombia.
With this set of operations, the group aims to reduce its corporate debt, strengthen its balance sheet, and focus on concession activities, which provide it with more stable margins, instead of prioritizing a higher volume of revenue.
