Seven people have lost their lives in different areas of Ukraine and two others have died in Russian territory during a new day marked by the exchange of attacks with drones and projectiles.
In the Ukrainian region of Zaporiyia, in the southeast of the country, a Russian attack has left three dead and 15 injured, according to a statement on social media by the regional military governor, Ivan Fedorov. "Unfortunately, another person has died due to the enemy attack in Zaporiyia. So far, three people have died and 15 are injured," he noted.
In parallel, in the Borispil district, in the Kiev region, two people have died and eight have been injured this Saturday after the impact of a Russian ballistic missile, according to information provided by the regional governor, Timur Tkachenko. The attack has hit a warehouse, a parking lot, several vehicles, a private home, and a gas station.
In the city of Lviv, three more dead and five injured have been reported as a result of an attack on the Iskra factory, according to the balance released by the mayor, Andri Sadovi. The impact has affected a warehouse where aerosol cans were stored.
On the Russian side, two minors have died and two adults from the same family have been injured in Yeisk, in the Krasnodar region, after a drone attack attributed to Ukraine, according to the complaint from the regional governor, Veniamin Kondratiev.
"Several drones attacked this morning civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in the Yeisk district. A family has been the victim of a new cowardly and regrettable attack by the Kiev regime. Two minors have died and two adults are hospitalized," Kondratiev published on social media.
The governor has indicated that emergency services continue to work in the affected area, where several businesses have suffered damage from the debris generated by the impact.
"Firefighters are still working to extinguish the fire. We will provide all necessary support to all victims. I have ordered the district head, Roman Bublik, to resolve any incidents that arise and report on the situation," he added.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has also reported an attack on the oil refinery in Novokuibishevsk, in the Russian region of Samara, carried out during the past night. These facilities, which belong to Rosneft, are located about 900 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
In that same area, a warehouse of Ozon Holdings, the second largest e-commerce company in Russia, has also been hit. About 500 employees have had to be evacuated and several injuries have been reported.
In addition, on Friday, three other people died and thirteen were injured in Ukrainian drone attacks on the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, in eastern Ukraine, local authorities reported.
