The Palestinian Red Crescent has reported that at least three Palestinians have been injured on the night of this Thursday in an attack carried out by Israeli settlers against several homes located south of Hebron, in the south of the West Bank. The health organization has also accused the Israeli authorities of blocking the passage of their ambulances and preventing them from accessing the affected area.
"Three Palestinians have been injured after settlers attacked homes in Jirbet Deir Shams, south of Hebron," the Red Crescent warned in a statement collected by the newspaper 'Filastín', linked to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
In that same statement, the humanitarian organization denounced that "the occupation," referring to the Israeli authorities, "prevents ambulances from reaching the area." Subsequently, the Palestinian news agency Sanad updated the balance and noted that the total number of injured has risen to four.
In parallel, and through another statement disseminated by both 'Filastín' and Sanad, the Red Crescent has indicated that its teams deployed in Jenin, in the north of the West Bank, "are attending to a 14-year-old boy who has been shot in the chest and back with live ammunition during the incursion of the occupation forces near the Arab American University." "He is being transferred to the hospital," adds the message.
