Seven people have lost their lives, five in Ukraine and two in Russia, during a new day marked by the exchange of attacks with drones and missiles between both sides.
In the Ukrainian region of Zaporizhia, in the southeast of the country, a Russian attack has caused the death of three people and left 15 injured, according to a statement on social media by the Ukrainian military governor of the area, Ivan Fedorov. "Unfortunately, another person has died from the enemy attack in Zaporizhia. So far, three people have died and 15 are injured," the regional official has pointed out.
At the same time, in the Borispil district, in the Kyiv region, two people have died and eight have been injured this Saturday after the impact of a Russian ballistic missile, according to information provided by the regional governor, Timur Tkachenko. The attack has hit a warehouse, a parking lot, several vehicles, a private home, and a gas station.
In Russian territory, two minors have died and two adults from the same family have been injured in a Ukrainian drone attack against Yeisk, in the Krasnodar region, according to a report by the regional governor, Veniamin Kondratiev. "Several drones attacked this morning civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in the Yeisk district. A family has been the victim of a new cowardly and regrettable attack by the Kyiv regime. Two minors have died and two adults are hospitalized," Kondratiev has written on his social media.
The Russian leader has specified that emergency services continue to work in the affected area, where several businesses have suffered damage from the debris generated by the explosion. "Firefighters are still working to extinguish the fire. We will provide all necessary support to all victims. I have ordered the district head, Roman Bublik, to resolve any incidents that arise and report on the situation," he has added.
On Friday, three more people died and another thirteen were injured in Ukrainian drone attacks against the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic, in eastern Ukraine, according to local authorities in the pro-Russian controlled area.
