The president of ERC, Oriol Junqueras, has lashed out this Tuesday against PSOE and Junts, whom he blames for "blowing up" the reform of autonomous financing, the cancellation of the debt of the Autonomous Liquidity Fund (FLA), and the Catalan participation in the governance of the Barcelona Free Zone Consortium, all of which, he has denounced, is due to partisan calculations and benefits.

In an interview on Ser Catalunya, reported by Europa Press, he defended the economic impact of the agreed proposal: "4.700 million from the pockets of the families of this country is better than zero, for sure. And everyone knows it. And everyone knows how education, health, social services, or the infrastructure of this country is. It is an enormous nonsense. It is a proof of selfishness and insensitivity, of unconsciousness and irresponsibility both on the part of Junts and PSOE."

When asked whether the advance of the electoral call is a responsible decision, Junqueras responded that yes and announced that ERC will set new conditions to support a possible PSOE government, although he reiterated that he sees it as "unlikely" that the socialists will manage to articulate a sufficient majority.

He also contrasted the attitude of Junts and ERC in their demands to PSOE, recalling that the post-convergents have put issues such as the official status of Catalan in European institutions or the transfer of immigration competencies to Catalunya on the table, among other claims.

In this sense, he emphasized the behavior of his party in Congress compared to that of Carles Puigdemont's: "The difference is that ERC has always supported what Junts proposed in Congress. Always. And, on the other hand, Junts has not supported anything from ERC."
