The deputy and current president of the managing commission of the Popular Party of Navarra (PPN), Sergio Sayas, will occupy the number two position for Navarra in the joint candidacy that the 'popular' and UPN will present to the Congress of Deputies in the general elections on November 29.
The PP has disseminated this decision through its social networks, emphasizing in its message that "the person who knows the most about bull runs in Spain is Pedro Sánchez because he has locked up his three top collaborators." Following that, they add that, but "about (the other) bull runs, Sergio Sayas also knows a lot," who has been designated as number two to Congress.
According to what is established in the coalition agreement between both formations, UPN will be the one to head the list to the Congress of Deputies with a woman, while the number 2 and 3 positions will correspond to the PP, the 4 will again be for UPN, and the 5 will fall again to the PP.
Regarding the Senate, the pact establishes that UPN will propose candidates for numbers 1 and 3, while the Popular Party will be responsible for designating the candidate that appears in number 2.
After the electoral appointment on November 29, the deputies and senators that the coalition obtains and that have been appointed by UPN will integrate into the Mixed Parliamentary Group in the General Courts, which will allow the representatives of the foralista formation to have full freedom of vote.
