Cash Converters, a company dedicated to the buying and selling of second-hand items, has recorded gross sales of 85.8 million euros in the first half of the year and has surpassed one million products acquired to give them a new life, as detailed in a statement.

In parallel, the company is driving its growth in the Spanish market with the launch of a new store in Barberà del Vallès, located in the Baricentro shopping center. With this opening, the chain reaches 80 stores in Spain and 86 in the whole of Iberia, also counting the six establishments that already operate in Portugal.

The new location, located on the ground floor of the shopping center, has a total area of 50 square meters and will offer the main services of the brand, including the immediate purchase of used products and the marketing of reviewed second-hand items with a warranty.

This opening is part of Cash Converters' roadmap for expanding its own stores, with which the company continues to strengthen its corporate network while promoting its franchised structure, with the aim of bringing second-hand consumption closer to an increasingly broad audience.

"Barcelona is part of the history of Cash Converters in Spain. Three decades ago, in 1996, we opened our first store here and today we continue to strengthen our presence in one of the most dynamic metropolitan areas in the country. This new opening reflects our commitment to bringing the circular economy to more consumers and continuing to lead the transformation of the second-hand market," the company has stated.
