The former mayor of Barcelona, Ada Colau, has pointed out that her designation as a candidate for the Presidency of the Government by the Frente Amplio is not closed and that "everything can be talked about again" if that contributes to reaching an agreement that allows for a unified candidacy, reiterating her intention to achieve a pact that includes Podemos.

"Everything can be discussed. I have been presented as a candidate for the presidency and it honors me. If I am useful, I have already said that I will do it with great enthusiasm and I will put all my energy into it, but if later more parties join the Frente Amplio and the consensus of all those parties is that there is another person who generates more consensus than my candidacy, well, go ahead," she emphasized in an interview on TVE, reported by Europa Press.

In this line, she explained that that unique leftist list she is pursuing must be "very coral," without "crossed vetoes or red lines," and that both the electoral reference and the brand with which to run in the elections could also be reviewed.

Thus, she stressed that her goal is for Podemos and the former Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, to be part of that eventual unity coalition, and she also pointed out that the leader of Más Madrid, Emilio Delgado, is a profile to consider if it is finally deemed logical to place him as number one for Madrid.
