The spokesperson of the PSIB, Iago Negueruela, has criticized that the Govern has overlooked informing the parliamentary groups in advance about the call for the Annual General Policy Debate of the Balearic Islands scheduled for next October 20.

"It is unusual, until now the spokespersons of the parliamentary groups were always notified to maintain a minimum of courtesy," the socialist leader pointed out in statements to the media in the corridors of the Parlament, reproaching the change in procedure of the regional Executive.

In Negueruela's opinion, the fact that President Marga Prohens presented this Tuesday in the Chamber the proposal to hold the General Policy Debate on October 20 without previously communicating it to the parliamentary groups shows that "she is not willing" to face this Debate.

The registered document specifies that the decision was made in the Consell de Govern last Friday and, in application of article 185.1 of the Regulations, formally requests the Parlament to organize this annual debate starting from Tuesday, October 20.

In this line, the socialist spokesperson has reproached that the spokesperson of the Govern, Antoni Costa, did not mention the date in the press conference after last Friday's Consell de Govern. "If they think we are going to be less prepared, well no," Negueruela emphasized, insisting that his group will attend the Debate with their work done.
