A person has lost their life and another has been injured this Saturday in a new series of attacks by the Israeli Army on the Gaza Strip, despite the ceasefire that remains officially in effect.

The fatal victim has been recorded in Al Bassa, north of Deir al Balá, in the central area of the enclave. According to available information, Israeli forces have bombed the home of the Al Hasanat family, located near the Al Bassa Mental Health Center, which has resulted in the death of Sharif al Hasanat and injuries to another person.

Additionally, a woman has been reported injured by gunfire from Israeli soldiers in the Nuseirat refugee camp, while reports of new artillery and drone attacks are occurring in various points of the Strip, including Jan Yunis, Al Qarara, and Al Bureij.

The Ministry of Health of the Gaza government, under the control of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has indicated that the total number of fatalities since the beginning of the Israeli offensive on October 7, 2023, has risen to 73,419, after incorporating two new deaths recorded in the last hours in the hospitals of the Strip. Furthermore, the number of injured has risen to 174,364.

Since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 1,285 deaths and 4,252 injuries have been counted, according to this latest official tally.
