A Palestinian civilian has died this Friday after being shot in the neck by Israeli military vehicles in the eastern area of Al Masdar, in the center of the Gaza Strip, according to the Martyrs of Al Aqsa Hospital.

The victim has been identified as Ibrahim Mohamed Abu Jashan, 42 years old. His death occurred near the Al Maghazi refugee camp, amid a new day of violence in the Palestinian enclave.

The medical center has reported the man's death, attributing it to gunfire from Israeli forces in the central area of the Strip, without providing additional information about the specific circumstances of the incident for now.

According to the Palestinian news agency Sanad, another man has died as a result of an attack carried out by Israeli forces in Jabalia, in the north of the enclave.

The deceased, identified as Adel Assaf, 40 years old, was in a tent area set up for displaced persons when he was hit by the bombing.

At the same time, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have reported the death this Thursday of three members of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) and Islamic Jihad in a series of airstrikes launched in various locations in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli Army has indicated that among the deceased is a head of the rocket section of Hamas, identified as Husam Walid Hasán Abu al Ata, killed in the same locality where Magdi Ma'in Yusuf al Ayubi died, whom the IDF also links to the military wing of the Islamist movement.

The third deceased is Mohamed Aja, described by Israeli military authorities as a company commander of Hamas, who lost his life in an attack in the Al Furqan area.

The IDF has defended these actions, stating that the three targets were involved in preparing new attacks against their forces and are part of efforts to reduce Hamas's operational capacity.

"The terrorists were eliminated through airstrikes," the Israeli forces stated in a statement in which they added that their units from the Southern Command remain deployed in the area according to the terms of the truce.

The Israeli Army has also insisted that it will continue its operations to respond to what it considers "immediate threats" against its troops.
