The former president of Junts and of the Parliament of Catalonia, Laura Borràs, stated this Tuesday that the leader of Junts and former president of the Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont, does not plan to return to Catalonia before the general elections on November 29, since, as she emphasized, "he wants his return to be a return of the country and not of the party."

In an interview on La 2Cat and Ràdio 4, reported by Europa Press, Borràs stressed that Puigdemont "left as president of the Generalitat, has been acting as president of the Generalitat in exile and, therefore, will not confuse these nine years with an electoral contest."

The former leader of Junts also pointed out that the greetings and photographs that Puigdemont took this Sunday with the attendees at the concert of Maria del Mar Bonet at the Olympia hall in Paris constitute "the prelude or the appetizer" of the reception that, in her opinion, the leader of Junts will find when he finally returns to Catalonia.
