The councilor of Rural Environment, María José Gómez, has urged the dairy industries of the community to incorporate the "Galega 100%" label in their references, focusing especially on block cheeses.
The regional responsible person conveyed this message during her visit to the Hoxe cheese factory, in Lalín, where she emphasized that the goal is to add greater value to these products and make their identification easier for consumers.
During the tour of the facilities, she recalled that this label can be used not only on liquid milk but also on other dairy products, including the block cheese produced by cooperatives like this one.
Thus, she indicated that, upon finding this recognition label in a supermarket, the buyer can have the guarantee that they are facing a food subjected to rigorous quality and traceability controls.
